For the second consecutive year, KIA returned to Milan Design Week — the world’s largest design event — with a bold new interpretation of its “Opposites United” design philosophy.
Held from April 15–21, 2024 at Milan’s iconic Museo Permanente, the exhibition titled “Opposites United: Where Boundaries Meet” explored the creative fusion of contrasting concepts such as wood & silicon, nature & city, finite & infinite.
Central to the installation were 60 custom 3-meter Dragon 3D Display kinetic sculptures by LED Pulse. 6 Units suspended from motorized winches moved vertically in perfect synchronization, creating a living digital dragon that breathed, hovered, and interacted with the space.
Mirrored walls and floors transformed the venue into an infinite digital realm where visitors could no longer distinguish reality from illusion. Sound artists performed live, blending music with the kinetic visual spectacle to deliver a fully immersive sensory experience.
