At Lanzhou Center in downtown Lanzhou, Gansu Province, the immersive exhibition “The Rise of the Han Dynasty” has officially opened, drawing crowds of visitors. The highlight features life-sized sculptures of three legendary Han generals — Wei Qing, Li Guang, and Huo Qubing — riding advanced bionic mechanical war horses that neigh, toss their heads, and move realistically.
Set against a traditional Han palace backdrop with red pillars and tiled roofs, the dynamic display recreates the epic Xiongnu campaigns of the Han Wu Emperor era. Visitors praise the lifelike horses and heroic poses, calling it a thrilling journey back to ancient battlefields.
Inspired by Gansu’s famous “Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow,” the bionic horses symbolize Han cavalry power. Perfect for families and history fans, the exhibition is now open at Lanzhou Center.
